I am convinced that in any stage of life we are capable of development and of growth in the psychological sense. But in any stage of life we may also face extraordinary difficulties, when we may feel uncertain, stuck, or left alone with our problems.
At such times the supportive presence of a professional can help: someone before whom we can unfold our difficulties with trust and honesty, and find a way out.
As a psychologist I do my work focusing on development, deeper self-knowledge and strengthening individual coping, in an accepting, supportive and compassionate atmosphere. I believe that one of the closest synonyms of the word “development” is “unfolding”.
As a mediator I aim for the disputed questions to be settled in a way that is acceptable, mutually agreeable and constructive for each of the parties in conflict.
As a trainer I deeply believe in the power of learning and practice through playful, situational experience. Whether the subject is self-knowledge or honing communication and conflict-management skills, I regard it as essential that participants can try themselves out in new situations in a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere.
